What is a dealer trade?
Two dealerships agree to swap vehicles, usually so each can deliver a car a customer wants that's sitting on the other's lot. Someone has to drive one car over and bring the other back. That's the job Fast Dealer Trade does.
How does a driver get assigned?
When you book, every available driver near you gets the run on their phone. The first one to accept takes it, and you see their name in your account right away.
Who are the drivers?
Local drivers who applied with us, passed a driving record check, and agreed to our Driver Standards for appearance, courtesy and vehicle handling. They photograph each car at every pickup and drop-off, and you rate every run.
How is vehicle condition documented?
Drivers take photos of all four corners and the odometer at every handoff. The photos are attached to the trade in your account, time-stamped.
How do we pay?
Your business bank account is charged once the run is complete, with a card on file as a backup. The price is the same either way: $200 for trades up to 15 miles apart, then $4 for each additional mile.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancelling before a driver accepts is free. After a driver accepts, there's a $50 cancellation fee, and $45 of it goes to the driver.
Where do you operate?
We're launching with dealerships in Huntington Beach and nearby Orange County. Trades can go up to 100 miles. If your store is outside our area, you can still sign up and we'll let you know when we reach you.
Who handles plates and paperwork?
Your store provides dealer plates and any paperwork the vehicle needs, the same as you would for your own driver.
